After nine months of hard work on transforming the Gusto brand for our client, Knutsford-based hospitality giant Living Ventures, we finally got to see it in all it’s glory whilst enjoying a VIP lunch at their pre-opening soft launch. Foodies, Bloggers, journalists and PR bods from all over Greater Manchester came down to sample their new menu (designed by us!) and see what LV’s latest venture is all about.
You can read more about our work on this project here.
The venue, inside the Grade II listed Elliot House on Lloyd Street, is completely unrecognisable from its former Olive Press incarnation.. The sophisticated new bar and restaurant, inspired by the traditional grand cafes of Europe with decadent fixtures and fittings including marble surfaces, wooden floors, leather booths and stylish globe lighting, opens to the public on Friday. Gusto Manchester will become the flagship venue for the Gusto brand which currently has ten restaurants including in Alderley Edge, Cheadle, Didsbury and Knutsford.
It was very rewarding to see our Gusto brand mark on everything from the windows and mirrors to the server’s uniforms.
But once we were seated, it was hard to tear our eyes away from the menu; even though we have seen it many times, it was hard to choose what to eat from so many great options!
After enjoying breads and nibbles, and a delicious main course, we had just enough room for dessert. The most popular choice was the Nutella & Marscapone Calzone… delizioso!
Tonight we’ll be attending the VIP launch party and hoping to try some of the cocktails from the menu we’ve worked so hard designing!
