Studio Bods take a trip to the Big Smoke

Earlier this month, our busy studio bods took a much needed break from designing/colouring-in for our amazing clients and made the long train journey down to London town. First stop was The Design Museum on the banks of the Thames, where we drew inspiration from the amazing Designs of the Year 2014 exhibition. Amongst the exhibits was a concept car by Toyota made almost entirely of polypropylene, a clever safety campaign for public transport in a major American city, an ingenius method of teaching people Chinese and some brilliant branding to boot.

After a wander around the exhibition, and a visit to the Museum shop (where we spotted a lamp perfect for our studio) it was off to the Royal Academy of Arts to check out the Dennis Hopper: The Lost Album exhibition. A collection of black and white photographs spanning a decade captures the civil rights movement and other iconic moments from life in the 1960s.

There was just enough time for tea at a lovely London institution, The Ritz (we wish!) before we headed back home.
